Between now and Sept. 23, one lucky table each night will be presented with a check that reflects 1953 prices . That could mean $4 steaks and lobster tails for $3.50 ! That’s not too shabby, as a dinner for two at the extravagant steakhouse can easily top $500. El Gaucho’s gigantic dry-aged steaks, Caesar salads prepared tableside and obsequious service make for an unforgettable night, so why not roll the dice?
