A toast. To Beervana and
Vinotopia for the birth of its cocktail section. We are so
very pleased to include cocktails for the first time and to
also study the culture of drinking in Portland. So proud are
we that our city is home to some of the best brewpubs in the
country. And that Oregon wines flourish at the top of fine-wine
lists around the globe. Yes, we are the champions, my friends.
But let us take this special time to remember that despite
our local industry's success, for most of us, what really
matters are our own very personal communities of drinking.
Yes, let us drink to Beervana and Vinotopia for all that it
give us: the history of the oldest homebrew club in the city,
advice on how to drink and save your head, a bar stool seat
at two pub crawls, the lowdown on wine terms and vino hangouts
and a bar guide divided by culture categories. Viva Beervana
