Open 9 am-5 pm daily. $4. OREGON MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND INDUSTRY After a successful European tour, Missing Links--Alive! makes its American debut at OMSI. The gorgeous exhibit inspires wonder and thought about the origins of man. Animatronic primates delight, explain and sometimes frighten (one prehuman lady is shown being brutally attacked by a wild beast), but they also entertain. Unfortunately, the technological wonderment of the four massive dioramas outshines the amazing but more sedate collection of ancient artifacts, many of which have been hidden in vaults in Eastern Europe since before World War I.
