Drink 2008

The moment you step inside Paddy’s you are reminded of classic Cheers episodes. The bartender shakes hands, the food is warm and comforting, and the relaxing vibe extends even to the fiddle-heavy music. The infamous “Wall”—eight shelves packed with over 465 shades of booze—keeps growing: A chalkboard out front keeps track of new additions. Come for the cocktails since the spirit list far outranks the food and beer menu. Booths easily seat six.
Perfect Patron: Recent college grads stuck in soulless cubicle-farm jobs, hoping to end the day with a recap of the basketball game and a cold Guinness. (SK)
HAPPY HOUR 3-6 PM, 10 PM-CLOSE: $3.75 WELL DRINKS AND MICROBREWS, $4.50 FOOD.
OUTDOOR SEATING, TV, SMOKE-FREE UNTIL 10 PM.
