Three Things You Should Know as 2011 Approaches

WW would like to offer you, dear reader, three New Year's particulars to keep you on your game tomorrow night:

1. Bar hopping? TriMet's bus and MAX service will be free after 8 pm. And MAX trains will run until 3 am.

2. Spending big? No worries. Oregon's minimum wage will rise by 10 cents on New Year's Day to $8.50 (that's $208 more in 2011 for the full-time worker.)

3. Resolving to bike more next year? Here's some motivation: Oregon's gas tax will increase by six cents on New Year's Day, the first state gas tax bump since 1993.
