Modified Style Portland collects donated scraps of fabric and turns them over to creative types all over the city of Portland and beyond. Each participant has only one month to design a unique and wearable creation to be displayed and put up for silent auction at our annual Fun(d)raiser Fashion Show on May 1, 2011.

All proceeds from the entire show, from the Fun(d)raiser Fashion Show to the silent auction, are donated to three local nonprofits. 2011 beneficiaries are CHAP, Sisters of the Road and Out to Pasture Sanctuary. Our goal is twofold: We are committed to inspiring creativity and confidence in designers, as well as raising funds and awareness for charities. The demographic interested in Modified Style Portland typically wants to get involved with supporting local artists and charities but may not know how. We aim to inspire them.
