Ninth Annual Romanian Festival

Portland’s Romanian Orthodox Christian community invites you to “party like a Transylvanian,” which includes eating traditional homemade sausages and pastries, drinking Romanian wine and beer and watching folk singing and dancing—not, apparently, wearing cheap, fake fangs and saying in a terrible accent “I vant to suck your blood!” Dispel my offensive stereotypes by partying down with some actual Transylvanians. Noroc!
