[C-30 C-60 C-90 GO!] Welcome into your world an ace lineup of freaked-out pop explorations and half-remembered soundtracks to your most candy-colored dreams. All the acts on this bill reside in the musical underground, releasing music on short-run cassettes that often sound like they are deteriorating as they play. But that only serves to help add a layer of fuzzy weirdness to the washed-out synth playfulness of Tracey Trance, the “’80s pop radio stuffed in an aluminum box” ideas explored by Twins, or the Savage Young Taterbug’s sly, “stuck between shortwave frequencies” compositions. Enjoy the noise, because the silence is deafening.
