[INFLATED ROOTS-ROCK] Stuffed with the Thanksgiving spirit, the Aladdin Theater hosts an evening of local tunes in partnership with the Portland Police Bureau Sunshine Division. Alt-rocker Josh Malm and his band Redwood Son headline, backed by the Moonlight Choir, an impromptu assembly of local musicians. Expect plenty of lap steel, countrified shuffling and heavy pop sensibilities. It’ll be like the holiday dinner table, crowded by area artists instead of your drunk relatives and their awful stories. Plus, proceeds help feed those in real need.
