[FELIZ NAVIDAD] Possibly the greatest tongue-in-cheek Mexican-themed Christmas spectacle since Cheech and Chong regaled us with the tale of Santa Claus and his old lady, the El Vez Mex-Mas extravaganza promises a crazy ass Navidad throw down complete with holiday favorites and a little titillation from backup dancers the Elvettes. Self-described as a weird combo of Elvis, punk rock, Liberace and Bowie, El Vez (aka Robert Lopez) has spent nearly 20 years perfecting his shtick. More importantly, he’s also a consummate performer, whose humor is more than matched by his talent. Hips don’t lie.
