Trailing recently released new fragrance the Afternoon of a Faun and summer album Silver Wells—an autobiographical song cycle equal parts harrowing and fanciful and not, we hasten to add, a Christmas pastiche—he/she (“v” is the pronoun of choice) promises a captivating cabaret turn decked with holiday cheer.
