Water & Bodies, Frame by Frame, Mosby

[ALT-ROCK] Hey, remember the mid-'90s? Portland's Water & Bodies certainly do. The band is quite fond of that part of the decade's big radio-ready guitars, arena-size drums and earnest vocals. This isn't "indie rock." It's "alternative rock" as defined in the post-grunge era, by bands like Incubus. Despite its high-production sheen, there's something commendable about a band in this city that actually seems to have grand ambitions and doesn't want to play dingy basement clubs its entire career.
