[GOOD ROCKIN’] This ain’t your daddy’s Molly Hatchet. In fact, this version of the band features a grand total of one original member (guitarist Dave Hlubek). But this isn’t one of those bands that will make you feel gypped if it doesn’t feature most of the founding figures onstage. All anyone wants to hear is some Florida-born swamp boogie: the chunky chords that rip open classics like “Flirtin’ With Disaster” and “Whiskey Man,” and someone—in this case, Phil McCormack, who has been with the band since 1996—doing his best blues howl while working the front of the stage like a pro. Do the right thing: Slip on your best black T-shirt, knock back some shots and yell out a request for “Lady Luck” for all of us.
