One of the sublime musicians of our time, the venerable composer (including soundtracks for Mississippi Masala and more) and master of South Indian violin has worked with Western musicians ranging from Stéphane Grappelli to Herbie Hancock to George Harrison. He returns with percussion accompanists on ghatam clay pot drum and mridangam double-head drum to perform mostly Carnatic classical music.
