[A/V CLUB] Billygoat, the local duo of multimedia artists David Klein and Nick Woolley, does play music, but this write-up should, by rights, be a few pages over in the Visual Arts section. Klein and Woolley’s atmospheric, drowsy instrumental compositions are substantive enough to require a stage-congesting array of instruments, including harp, drums and keyboard. In the end, though, the pieces can only serve as an accompaniment to Billygoat’s involved, stony stop-motion videos—the word “mind-blowing” is perfectly employed here. Take a seat beneath Rontoms’ fan and get ready to get agog.
