The art of Japanese ensemble drumming is vividly displayed in Portland Taiko’s premiere of Insatiable. Featuring drums, dance, traditional Japanese imagery and song, the show by artistic director Michelle Fujii is both methodical and explosive. Fujii explores cycles and the passing of time as they affect our lives and relationships.
