[ELECTRO-DANCE] For the EDM-savvy, it may come as shock that Los Angeles producer Dillon Francis is just now getting around to releasing his as-yet-untitled debut album. For years, Francis has been blasting his brand of dance music—a combination of reggaeton and electro-house—to venues packed with scantily clad women and neon-adorned youth. Dillon’s sound is a break from the harsher sonics currently dominating the EDM landscape, tending toward the slower and exotically bouncier. Don’t be fooled, though: Just like a Skrillex or Diplo show, Dillon’s performance will brim with aggressive ass-shaking and intoxicated make-out sessions. It’s a lot to handle, but worth it if you’ve had your fill of dimly lit bars and tame indie shows.
