[TWANG POP] People say she’s about to blow up, but Jenny O.’s CV says she already has. The Los Angeles-via-Long Island musician has had her music featured on True Blood and her latest release, Automechanic, was produced by Jonathan Wilson (Father John Misty, Dawes). While she’s returning later in the month to open for Rodriguez, this stop finds O. jamming get-together style, sharing the stage with the likes of Hot Water Music’s Chuck Ragan, Rocky Votolato and more. Of a vocal plain that resides somewhere between Olof Arnalds and Stevie Nicks, it’ll be interesting to see how Jenny O.’s countrified pop jives with her fellow artists.
