School of Oregon Ballet Theatre's Annual Performance

AARON SPENCER
7:30 pm Thursday, April 25; 2 pm Saturday, April 27., Saturday April 27 | $30-$46.
Newmark Theatre
1111 SW Broadway

Despite the budget tumult at Oregon Ballet Theatre, the School of OBT has remained fully enrolled and director Damara Bennett has remained on board. The school’s best aspiring dancers will perform a range of pieces from George Balanchine’s Serenade to now-departed director Christopher Stowell’s Rose City Waltz. This performance will be a critical one for the school, which lacks the funds for expansion as competitor schools encroach on its territory.
