Zines are great because they offer a creative outlet and freedom of expression regardless of a person’s resources or talent. Luckily, Portland is filled with a lot of talented people, and the quarterly AmaZine Day, organized by the Portland Zine Symposium, brings together zinesters and self-publishing enthusiasts for an afternoon of presentations, workshops and local exhibitors.
