Verdi’s last opera, Falstaff, pungently portrays one of Shakespeare’s—and literature’s—most colorful comic characters. Eduardo Chama returns to the immensely vain title role from PO’s last (1991) production, and this one,  directed by Christopher Mattaliano and conducted by George Manahan, also features a splendid cast including rising stars Nicholas Phan and Angela Niederloh.
