[PORTLAND INFAMOUS] In retrospect, the Dandy Warhols\' greatest sin was ambition. Almost a decade after Dig!, the endlessly engrossing documentary in which Courtney Taylor-Taylor declared his group \"the most well-adjusted band in America,\" the Dandies are practically neck-and-neck with Everclear for the title of \"Most Hated Band in Portland,\" and as far as I can tell, that\'s mostly because, much like Art Alexakis, the band dared to dream bigger than the Rose City. Sure, Taylor-Taylor gives off a vibe of well-studied rock-star assholishness (also: his name is Courtney Taylor-Taylor), and its music borrows from past decades of rock-’n’-roll cool without earning any of that cred for itself, but it can\'t be said that the group doesn\'t know how to write a good tune. In fact, it has penned some great ones, most of which are contained on 2000\'s Thirteen Tales From Urban Bohemia, which it will perform here—appropriately, in the year of the album\'s 13th anniversary—in full.
