The B-52s, The Go-Go's

ROBERT HAM
7 pm, Sunday July 07 | $41.50-$61.50
Oregon Zoo
4001 SW Canyon Road

[NEW WAVE ICONS] The stars are aligned for this show. Can you think of a better combination of artists, venue and time of year? Well, I'm sure you can, but for one presumably warm July night, the amphitheater at the Oregon Zoo is going to be alight with the snappiest of pop tunes from the '80s, recreated by two of that era's best bands. Yes, by golly, you've heard these songs a dozen times this week alone, but should that stop you from falling prey to the shimmy shake of "Love Shack" or the sun-dappled drive of "We Got The Beat"? I pray not.
