Oregon Encyclopedia History Night

PENELOPE BASS
7 pm., Monday September 09 | Free.
Mission Theater and Pub
1624 NW Glisan St.

Regularly providing us with the little-known tales of Oregon’s storied past, the Oregon Encyclopedia History Night will be hosting a new, three-part series, “A Century of Oregon History: Exploring the Untold History of Portland from 100, 50 and 25 Years Ago.” Our lesson begins with the homosexual controversy of 1912, when dozens of suspected gay men were arrested and jailed, and the implications it had on state laws, presented by Peter Boag with panelists Kimberly Jensen and Pat Young.
