[L.A. MUSIC] Most bands dream of headlining a huge arena. Not Poolside. As you might guess, the L.A. duo’s ideal venue is a sunny pool party, where fans clad in bikinis and Speedos can chill out to their daytime disco. That’s what they call their brand of dance pop, and it works well, evoking their music’s upbeat but not overly energetic style. It will work just as well in rainy Portland at night, too.
