[POP-PUNK] The opening riff of “Bogus Journey,” the first proper track on Iron Chic’s 2013 record, The Constant One, is a flawless example of how to start a pop-punk record, with buoyant chords that urge you to jump in your hatchback and find a skate park pronto. Whether you’re doing 90 mph on the Long Island Expressway or just longing for the days when doing such a thing seemed vital, The Constant One is a shotgun blast of anthemic joy that’s heard best on a blown-out PA.
