Boyeurism

AARON SPENCER
10 pm Thursday, Aug. 7, Thursday August 07 | $10, $20 VIP
Star Theater
13 NW 6th Ave.

The show's name makes it sound like a gay live-cam site, but the performers here have other talents. In fact, the acts are so gender fluid, they really have very little to do with traditional ideas of masculinity. Isaiah Esquire and Johnny Nuriel glam up their faces and lace up their torsos for sickening dance and aerial acts. MoNika, a champion pole dancer, never skips leg day. A familiar cast of drag queens, jokester jugglers and acrobats joins the lineup as well.
