The Pendulum Aerial Arts troupe tells a colorful story about art and the cycle of life. A painter's creations come to life and swing high above her, but one of these beings spins out of control. The troupe first performed the show, High Art/Full Circle, in 2010 and has since expanded it with fuller characters and new music. The acts, all fusions of dance, aerial stunts, contortion and hula-hooping, are inspired by paintings like Gustav Klimt's The Kiss and Pablo Picasso's Girl Before A Mirror. New York-based Sasha Lazard accompanies with live vocals, and Dave Eggar and Chuck Palmer, of the Grammy-nominated Deoro, play cello and drums.
