DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:						[GRINDCORE] Although the baleful grindcore of Australia’s Thedowngoing might not be cursed with something so tender and weak as a soul, there is definitely something like a heart beating in the band’s chaotic offerings. The antiseptic proficiency of such latter-day grind champs as Pig Destroyer doesn’t seem to interest Thedowngoing much, which is refreshing, because the world of short-fast-loud horror could use more human-sounding intensity. This is a grind band that doesn’t seem to be running a race so much as charging into one, wearing some strange animal’s blood as decoration. This isn’t extreme music as a science, but madness at however many beats a minute it takes to freak you the fuck out.<br><p></p>
