Margot Robbie just announced that she'll star in and produce an upcoming film about the life and trials of Tonya Harding, called I, Tonya.
So far, the Wolf of Wall Street actress is the only one cast, and she's currently searching for a director—Portland "creatives," ready your résumés.
Reactions online are mixed: Is this the next Van Sant-Nicole Kidman To Die For stunner, or a Lifetime-esque biopic? One Deadline commenter compared it to Monster, the 2003 film about Aileen Wuornos, a prostitute-turned-serial killer who was executed in a Florida prison. "Tonya Harding wasn't a Lizard Monster," as Martin points out. Others suggested Amy Schumer would play a better Harding.
