Chuck Palahniuk Working on Sequel to Fight Club

CHUCK PALAHNIUK

Portland refugee Chuck Palahniuk announced last week at Comic-Con, and confirmed to his official fan site this afternoon, that he's working on a graphic novel sequel to his book Fight Club, which was the basis for the cult 1999 movie directed by David Fincher.

Specifically, Palahniuk said that he's playing the field among Marvel, DC and our very own Dark Horse Comics, after introductions from fellow Portland author and longtime friend Chelsea Cain.

According to an e-mail from Palahniuk quoted on the fansite, the sequel will take place ten years in the future:

So there you have it.

But keep your pants on. The project is back-logged behind others, including a forthcoming novel called Beautiful You and a short story collection.
