Walking into the Southeast La Mota location—there are four statewide, including another Portland shop off Sandy Boulevard—I want to believe I'm either in The Matrix or from the future. I love how different La Mota's style is from other dispensaries. The white-on-white budroom is home to one of the biggest selections of flower in the city. A quick survey reveals an impressive selection of edibles in double-wide fridges and a healthy supply of concentrates and extracts to satisfy the OMMP "dab-a-roos." Take the time to read the menu. The staff will be more than happy to shoot the shit with you. Try the Purple Gangster, Super Glue or Strawberry Cheesecake. On the last page of the menu, the perfect strain came a-callin'. It happened to be Willie Nelson, and I gladly saddled up a gram.
