Damian Lillard's side career as the best rapper in the NBA added another milestone last night, as his first-ever music video debuted on TNT last night, right before the marquee Golden State Warriors-Cleveland Cavaliers matchup slaughter. That it premiered on Martin Luther King Jr. Day is not a coincidence: The song, titled "Bigger Than Us," addresses the current climate of racial strife in America with a hopeful tone, with the video alternating images from Ferguson and elsewhere (including the viral cop-hugging photo from Portland) with Lillard (a.k.a. Dame DOLLA) spitting in the studio. Not sure who this bootleg Austin Mahone singing the hook is, but I suppose that's beside the point.
