Weed is in the air, my friends. Though there was probably little doubt that last week's recipient of the Band Name of the Week title—Eugene's On the First Day…They Were Kittens—was under the influence of something when it came up with its moniker, the band's response gives us solid proof. Here's OTFDTWK's response to Local Cut's call for an explanation (for the original spiel on Local Cut's Band Name of the Week go here):
Freakin' Eugenians.
Anyway, on to this week's lucky title-holder: Clit 45. This is one I've been curious about for a while, and the New England-area "post-millenium streetcore" band is opening for the Dropkick Murphys next month. Visit Local Cut next Wednesday, Sept. 27 (just like you do every day) to see what they had to say for themselves.
