Developer Plans Condo Complex on New Old Lompoc Site

Rock Soft Futon, too.

Public documents show that C.E. John Company plans to construct a four-story mixed-use building at Northwest 23rd Avenue and Raleigh Street, on the lot presently occupied by the New Old Lompoc brewpub and Rock Soft Futon.

According to the request for response from the Bureau of Development Services, the proposed building will be "4 floors, with 4,550 SF of retail at the ground level and a total of 24 residential units at floors 2-4. Eighteen covered parking spaces are provided at ground level (17 are mechanical parking), with access from NW Raleigh Street."

Lompoc publicist Chris Crabb says the brewery is "still in negotiations" about whether the pub will remain on 23rd Avenue.

The building will share the block with Conway's proposed apartment complex.
