Future Drinking: Petunia's Pies Goes B&M; Kenny Giambalvo Does Pizza

And more new places to eat and drink in Portland

Our weekly-ish round-up of restaurant and bar news via OLCC liquor license applications:

Tae Gyun Kim and Hyun Joo Lee have applied for a liquor license for Oro Di Napoli, a planned "Napolese style wood-fired pizza kitchen" at 3632 N Williams that will be headed up by former Bluehour and Moreso chef, Kenny Giambalvo.

Farmers market gluten-free bakery Petunia's Pies and Pastries (warning: loud music autoplays on this website) is opening a brick and mortar location in the West End, at 610 SE 12th Ave., next door to Roma Ristorante. Look like it's hoping to nab the dessert crowd—it'll be open from 8 am until 10 or 11 pm nightly.

Suvarnabhumi LLC has applied for a beer and wine and off-premises license for Akkapong "Earl" Ninsom's (of PaaDee) previously announced Tarad Restaurant & Thai Market at 601 SE Morrison St.

Richard, Joan and Timothy Rickard have applied for a distillery license for Rolling River Distillery at 1215 SE 8th Ave.

Because WW staffers just don't drink enough hard alcohol, our downstairs neighbors Liner & Elsen have applied to upgrade to a full liquor license.

More tacos! Ricardo and Jose Serralta have applied for a beer and wine license for Hermanos Serralta Taqueria at 8525 NE Fremont St.

GoGo Teriyaki at 3244 NE 82nd closed last month, but appears to be reopening next door: Won Cho has applied for a full license for a business of the same name at 3246 NE 82nd. There will be Video Lottery and karaoke.

Crystal Maddix and Elizabeth Hanna of Hanna Maddix LLC appear to have bought the Rovon Inn Tavern at 6129 NE Fremont St., which will be renamed Mad Hanna. According to the application, the bar will have live music, DJs, karaoke, video lottery, video games and a pool table.

Ace of Spades Players Club at 9220 SW Barbur Blvd. also appears to have been sold—to Daniel J. Sickles of An American Dream Portland Inc.

Local non-profit Literary Arts has applied for a beer and wine license for its downtown location at 925 SW Washington.
