Democrats File Election Complaint Against GOP's Huffman

The Democratic Party of Oregon today filed a federal elections complaint [PDF] against Jim Huffman, the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate.

Earlier this week, The Oregonian noted that loans Huffman recently disclosed to his campaign appeared to exceed the value of assets Huffman disclosed [PDF] as part of his candidacy. Huffman—running against U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.)—declined to answer the daily's questions about the loans saying "he thought more attention should be paid to the issues he is raising in his campaign, not how he is financing it."

But that answer clearly didn't satisfy the DPO which filed a complaint with the Federal Elections Commission.
