New Study Finds Oregon Among Least Corrupt States

A new study from Harvard's Safra School of Ethics finds that Oregon is among the least corrupt states, measured both by illegal and legal corruption.

The study's authors defined legal corruption as "the political gains in the form of campaign contributions or endorsements by a government official, in exchange for providing specific benefits to private individuals or groups, be it by explicit or implicit understanding."

The study surveyed 280 reporters across the country (including me) and came up with the following result:
