Earlier this month, Adorn boutique launched two new capsule collections. Little River Sock Mill is a second-generation family business that's been producing socks for more than 20 years in Fort Payne, Ala. Little River's craftsmanship and designs give a nod to the company's southern heritage, and the socks are made with organic cotton. Prairie Underground is a Seattle-based company run by longtime friends Davora Lindner and Camilla Eckersley. They release four collections every year that showcase casual designs for women-on-the-go. If you enjoy the comfort and ease of sweats but want more form-fitting structure and lines, this is the brand for you. Tanner Goods and Maak Lab are producing a new soap line featuring three different bars—Upland, Shoreline and Wildland bars—influenced by the Pacific Northwest and leather-making. Many tree barks are used to tan leather, resulting in its darkened stain. This process has been reimagined with fine-grain bark particles, essentials oils and other natural products, such as sea salt and moss, resulting in a clean and refreshing exfoliant. Each bar is crafted individually in Portland with no artificial ingredients. 1308 W Burnside 11 am-7 pm Mondays-Saturdays and 11 am-6 pm Sundays.
